Don't suppose you've read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser?

I like the part about how it'll make people wealthier.

My Aunt used to tell me about how Walmart would destroy towns in the US: go in with rediculously low prices and keep them low untill all the competition is put out of business, then jack the prices way up, destroy the economy of the town, and in the end the town itself, and then move out and on to the next town.

But you know what I firmly agree with? "Trying to stop Wal-Mart... is un-American."
