Carefully, on our way

Jun 26, 2005 20:57

I just overheard the following conversation between my father and brother:
Father: "So, do you want to take a walk with us?"
Jeffrey: "No thanks"
Father: "Come on, walk with us"
Jeffrey: "No, I want to play the drums"
Father: "What's that, uh, you know that line? From Twin Peaks?"
Jeffrey: "What? You mean fire walk with me?"
Father: "Yeah. Walk with us."

That really amused me for some reason.

Oh, and I'm going away on June 30, and I will be in Hong Kong/ Cambodia/ Thailand for almost a month. I'll probably update more before then, but if you want me to send you a postcard or get you something (within a reasonable price range), let me know now. And no, I will not bring back any prostitutes or children to work in sweat-shops, so don't ask.
Yeah, so comment with your address for a postcard or what you want me to get for you. Or you could actually talk to me, but we all know that's a lot of effort and you know, personal, and we don't like forms of communication like that.

Also, come see me before I leave! For a month is a longlongtimesortof.
