Raindrops Keep Bucketing
Jesus Christ the weather is schizo. One moment I'm stewing in my own sweat, the next it's freaking Noah's Ark. And it kept up today, warm at day; storms at sunset. The thunder was pretty epic as well, my computer actually screwed up from a surge. Luckily there wasn't any permanent damage; I just had to reset it.
Torchwood was alright-ish. The episode was verging on 'They Keep Killing Suzie' type silliness. I don't think the back story was handled very effectively and there are still a lot of questions left hanging. So why do Weevils worship Death? How do the gauntlets relate to Death? I really liked the Death creature though. I think the skeleton looked a teeny bit humourous and could've been more terrifying but the smoke effects were great. Martha's old-age makeup looked kinda dodgy but it's understandable on Torchwood's budget... The Flying Gauntlet was a cool effect but looked completely ridiculous. It's like they completely ignored the hate the Auton Arm in 'Rose' got. Owen's pea soup moment was kinda ridiculous as well. Hopefully, Torchwood doesn't slip back into the juvenile crap of Series 1.
