We saw our midwife this morning. According to the size of my bump and the personalised growth chart that the hospital worked out for me, this baby now weighs something in the region of 5lb 9 oz. I must admit i did the same thing with regards to thinking of P as the other bio parent towards the beginning bit of your pregnancy when you said something about how they don't automatically recommend you avoid eating peanuts unless you have asthma/excema/allergys running in the family and i had to stop myself from saying "but what about P's allergys would they not increase the risk" and was glad when i quickly realised what i had thought as i knew then it was so ingrained already in my head this baby really is a creation by the both of you, genetics don't really come into it.

Yay baby soon! *bounce*

I'm sure her influence will mean the child will pick up characteristics from her as time goes on (I do wonder if s/he might end up with something of her accent) but I imagine they'll take time to establish ( ... )
