We did another test this morning and within seconds that second line was glaring at us. By the time the 'official' five minutes had past it was as dark as a very dark thing. My body is positively oozing hCG so something is clearly doing what it should be. And the tiredness is being nicely erratic but overpowering when it comes. On Saturday we had

Have you told your family or are you keeping it quiet for awhile? Just wondering how you explain the nod off in the chair!!!!

It was our second cycle of trying - we tried one back in September but it was too early really. The metformin hadn't really kicked in by then as I went on to have an 11 week cycle, so it was our first attempt since I started ovulating.

We haven't told most family yet, but we have let it slip to a couple of close friends. We'll keep family out of it until we've had that 12 week scan and know that all is well.

Oh, and we just told the in-laws that I'd had a bad night the night before and they didn't seem to question it. It will all make sense in another month or two when we make the announcement.
