but we all know that the guys in romantic comedies are perfect, it just takes a bit for the girl to see that, so therefore she eventually does, and no restraining orders need be made.

it influenced basically every romantic comedy that came after it, and sleepless in seattle fits into that category!
(unless we're talking hugh grant movies, which, although similar in themes, are obviously much more self-deprecating and more funny funny as opposed to cutesy funny)

That is all I have to say about that.
I actually voted for Sleepless in Seattle because Tom Hanks is definitely more romantic comedy ish that Billy Crystal. And it's clearly much more romantic. Whenever I see Billy Crystal, I just think of him in the Princess Bride when he's that dwarf guy.
