That's the funny thing. I did talk to the trainer, and she seemed really nice and helpful. It seems like she and Ninetales just don't really get along very well. I think the really bad stuff probably happened before she got here, since the scars and stuff look pretty old. I didn't have any food or medicine with me at the time, but I'm not sure Ninetales would have let me touch her anyway.

...But, uh, are you feeling all right, Professor Oak? Your voice sounds a little funny today.

"A woman?! How the heck does that work? This town really is weird, I guess..."

"Oh! Yeah, right, Brock! I talked to him the other day. Looks like he got Sudowoodo and Croagunk back!"

Funnilly enough, he's met Ninetails, though he doesn't know it.

1246 Williams Road. I told her I'd bring friends, and that we could all go to the park and have a picnic together. She doesn't really trust humans all that much. From what it sounded like, she's had a pretty tough life.
