"Squirrel? Do you have a Pachirisu here? I have one of those too!"

"They're friends and pets that people collect and train where I'm from. Lots of people just use them to help around the house or at their jobs, but there are also trainers that raise them to fight in tournaments or compete in contests and stuff like that."

[Leaf doesn't live in any of those houses, but she was passing by on her way home, and managed to pick up on Dawn's question. So Leaf waits for her to move away from whatever house she had been visiting at the time, then approaches her.]

Um, excuse me... I couldn't help but overhear what you were talking about. You were asking about Pokemon, weren't you?
