Keep responding! But tonight is out anyway - the act we wanted to see has laryngitis and will not be singing. Apparently there's another show tomorrow, so perhaps you can sway me one way or another.

I didn't put an answer for the second one, because my personal limit for something usually is $20 or $30 if I'm not sure of the enjoyability factor.

I went to see Sloan at 35 weeks and they yelled at me for sitting down, because they couldn't see I was pregnant. Massively pregnant.
It was loud! But it was also awesome (and the first time they'd played Saint John since they toured for Smeared in like 1993) and at an outdoor venue. And Carmen Townsend and The Tom Fun Orchestra opened, who were worth the admission by themselves.

Luke Doucette would be an awesome show.
