Doncha just love people who think freedom of speech only applies to people they agree with?

(I should probably note that I don't know the origin of this story; some co-worker who shall remain nameless (mostly because I don't know who it was) printed it out with no URL and put copies of it on the lunchroom tables.)

The feel-good nature of the story itself speaks of why it would even need to be written.

Putting lives on the line for the freedom of Iraqis? On a limb, I'll buy it. But connecting the invasion with your "freedom to complain" is downright dishonest.

That the ladies wanted to pay for her dinner, but "another couple had beaten them to it," is an underhanded way of implying that deep down, they knew they were wrong. The entire piece is laced with unintentional propaganda. I could go on further, but it probably wouldn't add anything.

True. To everything.

The woman and the others were focused on two different things...?
