Watching Enterprise. I'm trying to like it, I really am, but it's mediocre at best.

Also, does anybody else think the Aquatics look an awful lot like the Slith from Unreal?

And T'Pol is the most horribly written Vulcan in the history of Trek. I don't recall Spock ever breaking control over his emotions because of stress.

You're a victim of not watching the program much, I'm sure. There's a lot going on right now that refers to things that have happened over this season, and even over the past couple of years. While this isn't exactly the last few years of DS9 writing quality, I've been into the show this season more that I've been since it started.

To answer the one thing that you specified, T'pol became addicted to a drug that she was using to attempt to cure her disease (she contracted a disease through a mind meld early last season). Then Doctor Phlox, who knew that she was taking the experimental drug, but not that she was O.D.ing on it, discovered a couple of months ago that she has permanent brain damage and will never have the ability to control her emotions completely ever again (currently only the Phlox and T'Pol know about this).
