This seems typical...
like a flower that blooms only once
like a wound that bleeds, but heals in time
like a flame that burns brightly at first, but quickly turns into embers

It sure sucks to be jealous of someone that does not seem to exist. Perhaps the addresse was waiting for someone better, but as of the moment nobody is. Let's say you're the persona, if we use "logic" here, it might be worth a smile to say that "Nobody is better than you!" =P
