and yet another awesome work from you. yes, your numerous skills never cease to amaze me.

this particular piece in particular sorta reminds me of the days when i still used to stare at the sky - the night sky in particular. I love the way you encorporated the poem into your work (or vice versa).

I've already seen some of your other works in photoshop, and this work doesn't fall short from the genius of the rest. good job. :)

You should still stare at the night sky from time to time (not the noon sky, okay, you don't want to turn blind). It helps with a lot of things -- clearing the mind, finding inspiration, feeling peace and the sense of wonder that is all too rare in this terribly mundane world.

Um, and thanks. :D (Bolaaaaa.)

well, i would. but the night sky now is just too.. boring; devoid of anything; no stars, just... blackness. it's sad, really. I miss seeing all the stars. That's why I spend a lot of time during out-of-town trips staring at the night sky and just admiring the astrals.

BTW -- the picture is (kinda) a visual representation of how I feel when I'm doing physics. You know, happy. Really happyyyyyyyy.

@spam: You don't have to read it.

@topic: Read the poem. Go go go.

Yep :D I love the phrasing and the images though. The first two lines really stick with me; sometimes they echo in my head for days on end.

-nods-
actually, the first two lines are the only striking ones.
it's sort of anticlimactic actually.
which is weird, way weird for a poem. >_

I love the night sky.

Too bad if you're caught lying in a park at night they might think you're one of "those outdoor people" if you know what I mean. I specially like the compass on this piece. ^_^
