I am in need of one or two intrepid and imaginative souls to join a game I am running. It is a dice-type storytelling game full of mystery and hidden magic, of pride, power, and paradox. It is called "Mage: the Ascension", by White Wolf.

OMG who are you?? Where? When? I was already in a mage campaign but the group fell apart due to all but 3 of us moving away. If I can swing it I’d LOVE to join!

I opened my Livejournal account yesterday, so I haven't written much about myself. I am a 23-year-old who likes writing, gaming, and food. I especially like White Wolf's games; I have read most of them (pre-New World of Darkness). Which version of Mage did you play? They are both good but very different. I run the Old World of Darkness version. It is a postmodern game that raises questions about the nature of reality and perception, whereas Mage: The Awakening is more about mystical secrets and ancient beings with arcane power. There is some of that in Mage the Ascension too, but the conspiracy and mystery has more of a Roswell flavor. Mage the Ascension seems very Matrixy, though it preceeded The Matrix
