Well, I am the mother of a Junior, so it's been a while since I was in school (I had him young though) but I would say Myspace isn't a bad idea... but if I remember correctly from being a Non-mormon kid in Highland Highschool, that you can just intuitively feel each other out and find non-mormon friends... (or, open minded mormon kids too, which is in some ways better because they can help be a safe bridge in the social gap.)
Good luck though! we are (temporarily) within walking distance of Jordan High School, but my son goes to CHHS. since we are normally in West Jordan. I would say however, that your chances of finding a more diverse student body are better at Jordan, than say a school way out in the suburbs like CHHS

My little sister goes to Jordan. She's a pretty nice girl, and I'm sure she'd show you around and stuff.

Yeah, that's what I was hoping, since I originally wanted to go to Alta but found out that Jordan's less Mormony.
