[Battlestar Galactica PICSPAM] Laura's Blackbird
Until middle July I was fine. I sure had my addictions but I managed them well, thank you very much.
Then she came, 'she' being that sweetheart that is my best friend.
I was studying for a very important exam at the time, the first two time I tried it I didn't pass, so I was really nervous too. And she just had to come out with:
"I just ended this new series..." Bad, bad Francesca , don't ask it, can't you feel this doesn't bode well? Come on, you know yourself.... "Really? Which is it?" You just had to ask, didn't you?
"Battlestar Galactica."
"Oh! I know this one! I saw some icons months ago of the main actress, I thought she was cute, and thought she might be an interesting character. I tried so hard to find the name of the series, searched through the web and found out it was BG. But then I read she dies and I never started it. You know how I tend to grow fond of my characters and I couldn't bear to watch her die."
With that, I thought that was it... but NO! Here she comes:
"True, she dies, but at the very end and it's incredible. In the meantime she has an amazing role and furthermore, I saw the man she's with and I thought: 'man, this ship, Francesca will surely fall in love with'."
I had no choice. She had me with that sentence. I had to verify.
You know what? She was right, damn it!
Screw my German exam (which I passed, BTW), it took me less than a fortnight to watch the entire 4 seasons! And yes, I actually fell in love with the ship Laura Roslin/Bill Adama, as she had predicted.
So... here I am, with my first picspam, which is -surprise!- mainly centered on the ship A/R.

*SIGH* She gives the book back after her appointment with Cottle. I hate seeing her cry. Bill, please, give her a huge hug, I know you two just started to get along, but can't you see she needs one?? Pliiiiis!
Ok, this one wasn't really A/R (if not at all)... But I LOVE when Starbuck comes out from nowhere, almost scaring Apollo to death! XD

Trust her to have sense of humor. Come on, she's gourgeous, how could she not be funny too??
And the look that passes between Saul and Bill? Totally says: "Look at her. That's my woman."
Don't worry, Bill. No one would dare to steal her from you. Well, apart from the Cylons, but you'll do a terrific job in bringing her back (letting know the whole fleet about your feelings). <3
Awww. She's overwhelmed. And sad. But don't worry, Laura, it's not your time yet. There's still a lot ahead of you, trust me.
