Thank you. I like poetry by Rilke a lot. I can not say if this is a good translation but I like the original as one of his bests. It is always complicated when I would like to post poetry that is German and I just find a translation online. I usually have no clue if it is as beautiful to read in English than in German.
I don't really have a favourite writer, but I do love the way MCR frontman Gerard Way writes. I know his poetry is usually turned into songs, but if you just sit down and read his lyrics they're just as powerful without the music ^_^
I have a thing for fine sing lyrics. There are definatly some that are pure poetry. I like toquote song lyrics in my journal but usually people are not too impressed by them :o)
