I am so damn new around here that I don't suppose I can find anything to rec that you all haven't read already. So this may be more for me than anything else.
Through a circuitous path and
sue_dreams' divine intervention (you are my fairy godmother girl, srsly) I have just spent a few precious minutes decompressing with fic by
astolat. Tons of stuff here

Hope you get your writing focus back soon! Even if it's about Clex blowing things up. ;D

I think that was actually the only fic (*checks, and yes, it was*) by astolat that I hadn't read yet. And I probably would have avoided the dark fic warning (I imagine that's why I skipped it) if you hadn't mentioned it by name and linked it. ^__^ Thank you.
Clex as arson would be hot like burning. >D I hope with things at work as they are now (I already poked at your win post) that you might find the energy to write. ^__^ Insanity testing requires fic.
Bippity boppity boo.

There's actually a song I've been waiting to inspire me for some time now in re: Clex. Maybe I need to stop looping For Your Entertainment and loop it instead to try and force the hands of the muses :) it's called "Love Set Fire" by Moxy Fruvous. I'd link you but it's apparently so obscure that a quick google turns up nothing. I can sendspace it though, if you'd like :)
And thank you, Fairy Clexmother, but at over 81k words this one's gonna have to wait!

The fic is good (one of my favorites) and is steeped in musical references, which... makes my geeky musical heart very happy.

I will add it to my list :)

You should definitely always rec whatever it is, even if you think someone's read it! I know there are tons of fics I've skipped over the years and there are more still that I'd love to read again (and I bet others feel this way, too!)
I really want to be writing, kids. I want it bad...
Me too! I even have the time to write and I just don't. Last quarter, when I didn't have as much time, I told myself, "Next quarter, things will be different; you'll write constantly!" I can't focus either, and just let distractions take over.

LOL, oh, I hate you. I did a ton of writing when I was still in school, but that was **mumble**years ago :) I miss those times ...

Thank you :) I'm not promising anything soon, but I do have things I want to write and as soon as I find the time I will be working on them.

Another of my favorites is Drilling Holes. I can't bring the author to mind right now, but if you haven't read it, I'll look up the link for you. It's an alien Clark story, and just marvelous. The author is another one with really good stuff.
I hope you find your focus soon. I'm looking forward to reading more of your stuff. If you want anyone to bounce ideas around with, give me a holler.

I will always take links! Gimme gimme :)

Easvesdropping is another marvelous story, as is Gene Therapy. Hell, they're all good. I haven't read the newest yet - one of the troubles of writing so much. No time for reading. Anyway, I hope you enjoy, when you have the time and inclination to read them.
Btw - you still owe me a prompt. No hurry, as I have other fics ahead of yours, but when you can...
