I finally got around to watching the end of the Absolute Justice episode yesterday. That should show you my interest level, the fact that I was able to get interrupted with 20 minutes left til the end and then go 3+ days before finishing it ( Read more... )

I am... not at all caught up this season. Oops. My excuse is that I'm still trying to catch up with season five and on, but... meh. I'd rather be ficcing than watching, and it's difficult for me to do both at this point.

I can't wait to read your offerings at clexmas.

(On an unrelated note, Masquerade is one of the few songs from the play that I have on my MP3 player, and it made me giggle to play it last week. I thought of you. Because you always quote lyrics at me.)

I'm so pleased to have entered into your musical sphere of reference :) That's probably my least favorite song though, and I'm not anywhere near up to that point yet either! OMG the thing is going to be huge.

Oh, come on! Tentacles! How can you resist tentacles?

I can't quite pinpoint why I like the song so much, but Masquerade has always been one of my favorites (hence its presence on the MP3 player.)

Well, at the risk of sounding vanilla and boring ... because they're tentacles? :)

For my money (and the Broadway production has taken much of my money over the years - I've been an obscene number of times) give me The Music of the Night.

I am in awe of people who do gift-fic type challenges. The idea of a deadline is anxiety-producing enough for me; I would be crippled by the potential to let someone else down.

But yes, I'm trying on JUST DO IT as my new fic mantra :)

Yay! I'm glad you're doing clexmas. I'll look forward to reading them. I've only done two of the four myself. I've been busy with the last two help-haiti fics and a couple of b-day fics.

Also, yay on geting your au out of purgatory. I hope your new "just write it" philosophy will help.

I told myself I wasn't getting involved with clexmas ... and then ... you know me and drabbles :) I can't promise I'll get to all of them, weekends are always dicey for me - but so far I'm 4/4!

4/4? Good for you! That's awesome. Hey, are you doing the sv100 this time? I'm not. I haven't seen a single ep this season. I expect you're not, based on how you felt about the ep, but I decided to be nosy and ask anyway.

I almost want to wave off credit here ... there's a place in my brain that still says "They're only drabbles" or "it's not "real" fic." Which is silly of me of course, words are words.

I didn't intend to do the sv100 this time, exactly for that reason; but I had an idea this morning. I'm not sure if it will work, but I'll play with it and see.
