all of us, at some point, had to figure out that accidentally pressing "Insert" on the keyboard cruelly erased over the words you'd already written on your school paper due the next day.

i told my mom to remind me to clip my toenails when we got home. she didn't, and i only remembered once i was staring at my feet in the bath. i sunk my head under the water and wondered what else i have forgotten.
