four day weekend?

After my course finishes here on Friday, I don't have to be in work again till Wednesday. I reckon I should do something useful with my time off. Anything exciting going on in Glasgow* that I could gatecrash?

* Or elsewhere in the country. Or the world, for that matter.

check out the carnivals - there are pre-Lent/beginning of Lent ones all over Europe. The one in Cologne is particularly nice
