I haven't even moved out yet and I'm getting a taste of the stress of money management. It's going to be very interesting in Vancouver. Vanessa is just overflowing with luck.... she has a job secured so she doesn't have to worry about that, she's got that 5000$ of fire insurance money, and her Dad is giving her 1000$ to buy her furniture. aw. I think your clothes horse is going to have to be kept in the stable for a good long while. But also thrift stores are much better down there, so you might find wonderful things for cheap when you really need a fix. Remember...kelowna sucks for everything, especially nice clothes ( ... )

Hmm, yeah, loans are a bad idea.

I completely understand if Vanessa doesn't want to be buying me a bunch of stuff either. She actually never had 7000, that was another miscommunication XD, but she has already spent 300+$ of that 5000, which she got a week ago, and she's not even in Vancouver yet. So yeah. There's that, and there also the fact that, if she can get herself some nice things, or get herself and me some crappy things... yeah. She has no responsibility to help me out.

I don't think I'll be struggling too much. We're saving a ton of money by living in a one bedroom, so once I have a job, I should be able to afford to do a little shopping now and then. Especially if I get that manager position at Le Chateau. Purr.

Well...I used to sleep in a closet...that was a bet though...

My dad lived in an apartment for a year with only a microwave, a little fridge, and a sleeping bag. At least you have a matress:).

Yeah...I'll go back to lurking now.
