1. Name: Andi

2. Age: 20

3. Queer, or wish you were?: I'm probably as queer as they come.

4. Location: Atlanta, Georgia

5. What is your favorite book and why?: This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. The book deals with the world in two dimensions- the physical realm and the supernatural realm. I'm very fascinated with the supernatural and I thought that the author captured it very well. Not to mention it had an excellent story line (I literally couldn't put the book down.) And I thought that it was fascinating the way that the two realms were co-existing, without interfering with the other.

6. Life motto (phrase you live by): Live each day like it's your last.

7. Why are you so gay? (if we hear any more stories about how you had two Barbies but no Ken, we will kill you, seriously.): I guess it could be the fact that I tend to be opposite of what my gender is. And I can't really apologize for loving women. But I remember growing up, that I acted more like a boy than my brothers did. I mean, my dad played catch with me, cut wood with me, and worked on cars with me while my brothers stayed inside because they didn't want to get dirty or do those things. Maybe if it comes to fitting a stereotype for what being queer is, then I think I do fit it.

8. Your hero/idol: People in Police/Rescue services. I think it's awesome how they help so many people without really paying attention to the fact that maybe one bad arrest or rescue could leave them maimed for life. Those people are truly amazing to me.

9. Thoughts on the following:
Socialism ("I don't follow politics" does not work. Stop being ignorant and come back when you're educated.): Well, if you go by the actual definition of socialism- it seems that in theory it might ensure that all people have equal property or pay for work that is done. But every system has it's flaws. I can't think of any government system that is perfect, and there might never be one that is.

Grammar: I'm pretty particular when it comes to grammar. People with bad grammar tend to get on my nerves. There are times where I really want to throw a dictionary at somebody and walk off. But bad grammar is not cool.

Country music: Well, I do tend to like country music from the 1930's. Maybe that's when it was closer to being the real thing aka: Delta Blues. But now I find that like most everything else, it's getting to be commercialized.

Rating communities: Some of them can be pretty mean. But then you shouldn't have to walk on eggshells around somebody that comes in knowing they're going to be analyzed or criticized.

Intermarriage: It's mainly about love. If two people really love each other, then why deny them marriage? That's wrong. And I also think that it is very important that same sex couples be treated equally and given the same rights and benefits as hetero couples. It's only fair.

Religion: In my opinion, religion might be good in the fact that it offers people something to help keep them stable. But I am probably more spiritual than I am religious.

Machismo: I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I know I'm guilty of it. Heheh It definitely does fit some people more than others though.

10. What is "class," to you? Maybe being refined, polished, and having good manners. And it's how you present yourself to others, in a dignified manner. Having class is definitely a good thing. I think that maybe someone like Frank Sinatra would be class personified.

11. Are you one who settles, or one who strives for more? Why? I always strive for more. I want to be successful and have a good career. Of course I'm not going to settle for being a couch potato when I could be out doing well with a good job and good pay.

12. Do you honestly think that you are attractive? Yes I do. Looks are important, but so is how you treat others, your personality, and how you are as a person. I think there are several things about me that are attractive besides my looks. I just go by what people have told me.

13. How would you gauge the importance of acquiring a second (or third) language? Wow, that's definitely something important. Especially for certain careers. I speak Spanish myself. And while studying to be a police officer, have had several Hispanics tell me how glad they are that there will be a person that can speak their language out there. They say that when they're scared and not sure of what's going on, that it will really help to have someone there that can help them and explain things to them to calm them down and take care of a situation.

14. Do you perpetuate a gay stereotype? (Honestly, people!) I can't really say that I do. I mean sure, there are a few people out there that I know without a doubt are gay. But still, there are so many types of gay people out there today that I'm still puzzled at times when it comes to trying to figure out if someone's gay or not.

15. Do you take what people on the Internet say seriously? It depends on if I know the person or not. But I usually don't.

16. And finally, why should we give a damn (this can be interpreted in any way you wish)? Because we can make a huge difference and accomplish more in the world by caring- than we could by not caring.

17. At least 3 pictures (at least one non-photoshopped that you can see your face in):

Gotta love the suit pics…

I love my guitar. <3
