I posted that last quote before I forgot it, I liked it. It's quite nice to think that even if you never really achieve genius on record or live for various reasons, you could be considered a genius in other, less considered areas of your life. I also loved the phrase 'backstairs with the gang', such an usual but evocative ring to it.
