Got a friend with a really weird computer problem. She says she's been trying to install Yahoo Messenger on her computer, and whenever it reboots, the program disappears from her computer. She's tried downloading different versions from different sites, and even different programs, and the same thing keeps happening. She has plenty of hard drive

No fucking clue. Seriously. That's the strangest thing I've ever heard of, and I'm not surprised it happened on Windows. Something on there must HATE Yahoo, but I don't have a clue as to what. If she's got a virus scanner or adware removers, might want to run it just to see (never heard of a program getting outright deleted for any other reason). Other than that, I have no clue. This kind of stuff makes me want to give up ever diagnosing Windows problems. Ugh, this crap is what created IT. Haha.
