from my perspective

soul and life are different word
we put our experience and energy toward word
generating concept
experience and energy we put toward "soul" represent soul
experience and energy we put toward "life" represent life

soul -
our depth
our space

life -
our personal relationship
perhaps our breadth

soul - us
life - others

these seem to move toward soulmate and eternal-love
each are personal relationship having depth
the first is perhaps depth with regard to depth - space
the second is perhaps depth with regard to life - love
