i realize that, but verizon unveils its tiered data plans on july 6 and marshall and i would both rather get grandfathered into an unlimited data plan that get a latest and greatest. :) i'd also not bet on rumors, since i heard it was merely the iphone 4s, instead of an iphone 5, which won't come out until next year. i mean, if i just waited until the new model came out, i wouldn't get an iphone at all. :P
