Ha! I have 5 brothers, and they all drum, and beat the seats, and their thighs and knees and the car dash, and 2 of them will NEVER PUT THE DAMN GUITAR DOWN even in the middle of family gatherings when everyone is trying to talk around them! I can totally relate to the whole car thing, on some level, but maybe not about singing... I sing in the car, myself, but I can't stand it when someone talks on a cell phone in the car. Ugh. That's MADDENING!!! I feel if you're in the car, you've got no choice but to be there. It's not like you can just get up and walk away. But, still... singing in the car... that just seems like an American rite of passage, doesn't it? You just watch, I bet you'll catch your kid doing it too, as soon as he gets behind the wheel. Cute family tale! (Also, glad he backed down some. And, aw, you're such a sweet mom!)
