I was going to write a long entry on this, but really, I think the professor pretty much summed up the workshop
here. As for the residential program, it was fantastic and I wish I'd done it before now. It was exhaustingly full-on, but you got so much more time to get to know all the wonderful, lovely nerds people. All the residentials going into Year 11 this year have signed a petition for a senior camp... we'll see what happens. I've emailed them.
The new house is mostly unpacked. Neither the stove nor the oven work properly, and I haven't figured out the bus routes or anything yet, but otherwise it's going surprisingly well.
Otherwise... well, I could have sworn I'd been Doing Things this last week or so. I've seen a few movies, I suppose, and done a lot of reading and a bit of job-hunting. I've got two places looking promising, a pharmacy and a restaurant, both of which said they'd call early next week. I guess I'll take a break this weekend and just wait, and if they don't work out I'll start job-hunting again more seriously. I've also started swimming again, and it's playing havoc with my hair. I'm considering chopping it all off.
