I'm off to another nerd-convention the weekend after next! This is a United Nations Youth Association one. As far as I can tell, we all get a country and spend two days roleplaying that country in a whole lot of political debates. This year's theme is "

This year's state conference theme is Development? That's so much better than ours was. We had something like 'Peace - it's in our hands'. Boooooring.

Yeah, but it doesn't seem all that related to the theme, really - we just got the resolutions, and they are:
- Peace in the Sudan.
- HIV/AIDS Education, Prevention and Medication.
- Iran.
- Torture.

And you make the UNYA people sound so scary! They're not, I've been been emailing back and forth with the woman running it for days, and she's lovely.
