a visit to poe's~~image heavvvy
yesterday i had the pleasure of taking a free tour of one of the houses edgar allen poe stayed in while he lived in philadelphia. if you are ever to visit you should check it out; it's free and informative. first i have a lovely photoshopped picture of myself. hehe.
and now for the regular color photo of my outfit:
these were taken in the reading room, which was an extension to the museum and are not part of poe's actual house.
and now for some pictures of the inside. there was nothing inside. the united states parks system decided to remove the furniture of the previous museum; they didn'f feel like poe would have owned much due to financial instability. this made it fairly creepy.
we also went on a ghost tour but before that i took a picture of the outside of the first bank of the US. so here is a picturesque historic philadelphia shot:
