I did it! I finally finished that bugger of an Environmental Politics paper that plagued me all weekend long. I also gave my last oral presentation for my language class today, which means, in case you're keeping score, that I am finished with two of my four classes this term. Tomorrow, I will give my final oral presentation for yet another

Are you excited to come home? :-) I know when I came home from Italy I was exstatic to step off that plane, but at the same time there was a sense of loss not knowing when I would be able to do something like again. Now, I would love to go back to Europe, but the catch is that I would love to go back with a partner. Sitting at a cafe... Walking through the streats at night... Although when I left, I was definitely ready to come home!

Excited isn't quite the word. Restless, maybe. I want to go home. Now.

I mean, of course I'm going to miss Japan when I'm gone, but it isn't my home, and I'm anxious to get back to a place where I don't feel like a perpetual outsider, where I can buy clothes in my size, etc., etc., etc.

I agree, we have no time to enjoy what's left of our stay after classes end. :(

Aw, thanks for inviting me to the graduation ceremony, but unfortunately I have my English teaching job from 10 am-12 pm on that day. Maybe we can hang out later on that afternoon or on Sunday, if you're not too busy packing.
