why don't you do your cwk and the units that you dont have to sit in january this year still, thus still getting to see all your friends! But you know the ones you are supposed to be sitting this January... why dont you take them in 09?
I do have a theory behind this, it means that if you cock up any of your other exams next June whilst on a gap year, you will be able to retake them while saving up!
this may make no sense, but i think it might make you life a bit less stressful, if that makes any sense...
