[The letters are handwritten and barely readable. The first is clearly the result of boredom and not much else.]

Knock knock! Is anyone alive over there?

[The second, written spur of the moment is, sadly, more put together. Zardoz's ticket has got him thinking!]Hello future persons. I have a story of possible interest to you ( Read more... )

[Lynne had to tilt her head and screw her eyes a little to try and decode C.C's messages however, what bits she could read made her lips quirk a little in amusement. After reading through it twice to make sure she read it right, she replied in pink, neat and legible writing]

Cheers,

[Lynne's thankful for the increased legibility; this time it only takes one try to get it all. She frowns a little when she reads about Zardoz and Heather, thinking, before brushing the thought aside to write ( ... )

[Charlie reluctantly heads back to his room and digs out Lester's letters and some of his own scrawled notes before replying. No way is he giving Lynne bad information.]

Lynne,

I drew a mustache on his case. It was an attempt to brighten up the place - the attic is still very dreary in this time period! Zardoz then erased it simply by glaring at it and called me a pig. He seemed to change his tune quickly enough after I paid him, though. I suppose if demons like money, why not fortune telling machines ( ... )
