Oh, very nice. Lovely angles on Sherlock's complexity, his moods, his despair, and his efforts to engage the world albeit in the ways he knows best. Beautifully written, too. :)

I really, really enjoyed the Mycroft section. I liked the whole thing, but that bit the best. Great job!

This is good, very good. as the mum of two boys at least one of whom is on the austistic spectrum, aka Aspergers, I have often sympathized with Mummy. Somedays, you just wonder what life would be like with two normal kids, just for a change.

Thanks for the feedback :) I work with children with ASD and am constantly bowled over by the dedication and resilience of the parents I meet. I can only begin to understand all the 'what ifs' which must play on their minds.

you are very kind. My boys do have tremendous charm as well; the younger one barely needs to speak to get what he wants, just flashes them big puppy-dog brown eyes ... It can just be exausting at times, that is all. I expect that Mrs. Holmes would not hesiotate to agree on that point. You love them, but you worry so since you know the world will really not be kind... and you worry that they will be unkind tothe world too.

The Mycroft section was my favorite too, especially the part where Mycroft is nine and Sherlock is two and a half. I could really see those two growing up into the adults we know on the series - beautifully done!

I also thought the part with Mummy was achingly well done, a very realistic portrait of what it must be like to be the mother of a child like Sherlock. And the part with John made me smile. Excellent job all around!

Thank you :) It's good fun to imagine what little Sherlock and Mycroft must have been like. Glad that the part with John made you smile. John should have that effect.
