Why is money always a problem?

So yesterday we told a few more people about the idea, and they loved it!! Even some of the guys haha! Everyone's been so enthusiastic and we've started coming up with story ideas to assign people.  We will post that up in a few days once we finish talking to everyone

i completely agree with your uncle. print media is quite a challenge and will require a looooot of money if you actually want it to look good. if you don't have a large enough fan base you will lose a lot of money to printing magazines that probably wont even leave your hands. (i'm kind of dealing with that situation right now with some print materials we just made.) save the trees and the bills until you're completely sure about everything

oh i read your other entries just now and i don't want to discourage you guys but december seems really close to come out with a magazine.

i think this magazine is a really good idea and could be capable of some really amazing things BUT i also don't think you guys should rush yourselves into producing something in two months just because you want to.

first impressions are the only impressions. if you don't look good the first time around then it's not worth it.

make sure everything is the way you like it. if it takes you until the second quarter of 2009 or later, so be it. but if you're serious about making this thing happen and keeping it around for a few years i think it will be worth the wait. think of it as a marriage. you don't want to jump into a commitment that you aren't completely sure about.

yeah we realized dec is a little soon...it'll probably start some time early next year hopefully. We will try to make it a winter issue so the stuff doesnt get outdated
