not really back in LJ-land, but i popped in to wish everyone a happy new year and check on some flisters. wasn't in time for xmas due to, er, an unfortunate set of circumstances that killed my internets. the last quarter of 2010 has been quite unpleasant for me. here's hoping there'll be better times for all of us in 2011.

It actually started with a quiet night in, with weather warm enough to keep the window open half the evening (it's now below freezing, but that's par for the course in Illinois, lol). Watched a film, and fell asleep to classical music :) How was your New Year's, darling?
