1. My nephew actually calls me by my name, "Edif" or close enough to it, that is. While I was gone he apparently saw pictures of me and kept asking for me. tears tears tears awwwwwwww so adorable

at dinner with lori a few weeks ago, we actually started talking about britney spears. i was horrified.

there's a good explanation. she was telling me about her firm's parties, that her boss forces them to answer awkward questions in a hideous circle of antitrust. one of the questions was, "who would you want to die?" lori's answer was britney, because she takes up news time. honestly, why is she in the news SO MUCH? it almost makes me want to scream, "bring back the car chases!"
