OH MAN!!! I am so happy for your dad... and the Sox of course. Absolute mayhem broke out here in Lowell after the win. We actually planned for what to do as soon as people started pulling fire alarms cause it was inevitable. Wednesday night every building in the quad had pulled them... Last night they didn't need to, EVERYONE was in the streets with the riot police, it was unbelievable. Crowd surfing, fireworks, chanting, a couple people in halloween costumes, and even police "subduing" someone who was thowing shit at them... what an ignorant shit. Anyway, I hope you had as much fun as Lowell did last night. It's a night that's going down in history.

Manda I sooo feel your pain. There are lots of Sox fans out here at IU but it's just not the same. Mostly it's just Cubs fans with nobody else to root for. When the game ended I was all pumped up and excited and I was like, Ok, where are the screaming people out in the street?? And then when I remembered I was in Indiana I was sad :(

manda, i missed the game!!! yesterday, one of my students came up to me and said: teacher, did you see the red sox? and i said no, why? he said: because they won! I was so happy manda! I wish i saw it!!!! Love, Lu
