The house is shaking
wind pushing at either side
and from afar
as far as the rain travels
and with similar invisible forces,
something spit splatters
on those internal organs

how indifferent
and crusty
today feels

maybe its the time change

a full moon approaches on tuesday

the weekend
has left me with little to no leg power
because I've literally either danced
or drove the whole two days away
and in between blinks
I attempted cat napping
besides my mother
and her new nose

and I only drank 4 drinks
in the whole span of time

I lost a pair
of hot leather gloves
that didnt ever fit
and gained a pair
of hypster mittens
that fit perfectly

balance is re-gained

On the way back home tonight
I sang at the top of my lungs
over slush and under hailing snow

and everyone looked over at my crazy lady-ness
