Internet/phone/cable can be used to MAKE friends! You could make a Craigslist post! Craigslist friends are the non-sketchiest!

1. Went to WB today to finally pick up my copy of interweave that was hidden under the counter. Sue then informed me that I had a paycheck in the office, so I promptly spent it. I got 4 balls of ella rae worsted in that pale blue color I like (Sue ordered the entire color line and it's one of the new ones) for a sweater of pattern TBA, and 4 balls of that charcoal cotton ease for that little red cardigan I like in the interweave. Also then picked up on a whim 3 colors of blue sky alpaca sport for a tiny striped fall scarf.

2. Sue mentioned that someone called her to check your references today (or was it yesterday?)..so I'm hoping that means you're getting closer to getting a job!

3. I ran into Chanda on her way out and she was picking up your boots.

4. I wish you were here to knit with me as I knit up all this crap I just bought.

5. Oh also, I just got a part time job so I am officially financially able to visit you in. In october. Date TBA.
