[It's about dawn or so on Valentine's day when there's a banging heard on Karkat's hotel door. Dave is there, dressed warmly and holding a basket full of homemade chocolates shaped like either spades or hearts. Don't ask how he got them.
There are also a variety of other things in the basket, such an almost-empty photo-album, the first picture in there one of Dave makes the spades symbol with his hand, then right underneath it one of Dave making the hearts symbol with his hand. Then romcoms aplenty and the soundtrack to the movie Serendipity, or rather it's Pokemon equivalent.
