oh man. you are lucky
i tried to dye mine black > blonde and it turned this horrible orange color. so i tried bleaching it like 4 more times.. stayed orange. :(

i definitely am lucky. i'm not sure how it did it.
before when i tried bleaching it, it turned out that orangey disgusting colour &this time it worked so well.
i've heard of cases where people had to bleach their hair at least 10 times before they got the platinum/whitish blonde colour. it sucks big time. going from black to blonde is definitely a big change &it's hard to do. as much as i like the colour of blonde, i really hate bleaching it. hahaha.
