Are there actually any women in Inception, though?
The female characters are called Mal and Ariadne. Come on.
Both of them have the very clear plot function of highlighting parts of Dom's psyche, and nothing beyond that.
But I can't imagine you with all your complexity, all you perfection, all your imperfection. Look at you. You are just a shade of my real wife. You're the best I can do; but I'm sorry, you are just not good enough.
As far as I'm concerned, Dom never woke up.
