You've worked with Pro Tools right? How hard is it use, if at all and how much a difference from Cool Edit?

Aye, I know el Pro Tools ... I could teach it to you in, like, noooo time. The basic idea is like CoolEdit, but the execution is pretty different. I think ProTools is MUCH better, but, of course the shit don't work on WinXP ... so ... yeah. :\

If you'd like a crash-course in it, I could teach yas (we'd jack a studio at Columbia) on Wednesday evening (5 or 6ish) orrrr Thursday (I might be working for the Zone, but I haven't heard yet) after 1.

Panther piss! I work Mon-Fri 6pm-midnight at the Jesus station. See there is this postion at this production house out in NY that is hiring (entry level) but they require knowledge in Pro Tools =/

BTW, have you met an intern also by the name of Steve from ICB? Long haired, short, annoying kid?

I haven't met any other Steve's (I don't think there are any) but I did meet a kid from ICB ... he was about 6'-6'2", 280lbs, short blond hair and glasses. Looked like a jolly fellow, but I haven't seen him since the first day.

And don't let one little thing stop you from getting a job. What about Monday, the 5th? I know that's like, 10 days from now ... but ... I KNOW I have it off from work, so it's basically just a free day. Plus, it'll be good knowledge to have definitely. If I were you, I'd check some book stores for a "ProTools for Dummies" book or somethign and try to get a little jump start on reading THAT before I can try to show you what I know. Odds are, you'll end up teaching me. ;)
