For cut/copy/paste it's the same as in Windows but you use the cmd key instead of the ctrl one. Other helpful shortcuts: cmd+a select all cmd+z undo cmd+q will quit an application cmd+w will close the selected window (but not the application in most cases) cmd+m will minimise a window to the dock (the bar with the icons at the bottom of the screen). cmd+n will create a new document or window in most applications or a new something (e.g. a folder in the Finder) cmd+p will bring up the print dialog box
In most cases you can see the shortcuts available in the menus for each application.
