This does it for me.  In no way could I *ever* support this kind of thing.  Sarah Palin not only is a proponate of the intentional killing of wolves & bears from airplanes, she established the paying of a bounty for the forelegs of a wolf or a bear.

Way too barbaric for me.  My spirit side simply can not support this type of barbaric action.

I dislike aerial hunting of wolves but I will tell you that deer have no predators other than man and they will overpopulate and then starve to death.

I have seen deer starving and it is sad. They strip the bark off the trees as far up as they can reach-it is not very nutritious.

Deer are regulated (just like bass fishing) and thinning them is part of the circle of life. Otherwise they would overrun the area they have to roam and proceed to starve. Which trust me is worse to see than being hunted and eaten.

Anyone who protests hunting for meat had better not eat beef, pork, or chicken. Eating it is the same as killing it. The animal was alive and then killed regardless of the environment. Killing ugly dumb animals is the same as killing cute fuzzy ones. Their lives carry equal weight.

Deer starve because we humans have encroached on the earth and they no longer have much of a habitat.

To me there is a differrence in sitting up in airplanes and trees and intentionally & secretively watching for and shooting animals and having a rifle on the ground and going at it beast to beast.

I agree about eating meat ~ killing animals.
