It's fun to see someone/thing getting the better of Norway for once, as knowledgeable and self-possessed as he usually is! The nature scenery here is beautifully atmospheric, and (especially for Norway) it's a nice twist how a little lack of skill was a more bewitching lure than supernaturally perfect facility. Lovely and sad, the dynamic where Näkki doesn't act like Norway is recognised, but Norway is so drawn (if partly by enchantment) to Finland...

When you have a chara that's really good at something - idk sometimes you just want to see them fail a bit? I figured that the only way of fooling Norway would be to present the supernatural in a way that he wasn't used to, and that something that felt unearthly would immediately make him vary. He IS knowledgeable on all kinds of unnatural creatures after all.

I really like the contrast between Finland and - well, not-Finland. He's so animated and talkative, it makes the magic just that much more blatant.

Also "there was a small touch of vanity in him that dictated that he must always be presentable in appearance, even clad in his everyday clothes" I won't lie, I love it when people write Nor as a little vain (or a lot. Heh.)
