*Title-less*
Chapter 1.
Pairing: JongKey.
Rating: Still lame and mega-retarded.

Jonghyun didn't bother looking up even though he'd heard the stranger's calm and oddly attractive smooth voice. The stranger leant forward onto the table and dangled a tiny silver locket onto Jonghyun's head. Somehow, his head had magically turned into an unresponsive rock with surprisingly stylish hair no rock would dream of having, thus prompting the stranger to start whipping at it.

"Yah!" He shouted in pain, rubbing the new little welts underneath his hair, one hand out as some kind of defence.
"Oops." The stranger giggled, putting his fist inches infront of Jonghyun's unsuspecting face.
"I said, is this yours?" He repeated letting the locket end of the necklace fall out of his fingers.

The stranger patiently waited until the idiot could recognise that the necklace was familiar. Jonghyun subconsciously placed his hand against his collarbone and started to daydream. The stranger stood there awkwardly for a few seconds and decided leaning on the table like that hurt his arm.

"Some girl who was bawling her eyes out threw it at the bin. I strongly emphasise the 'at'." He shuffled to the opposite side of the booth and slid himself onto the seat, "Expect me to be standing beside that particular bin at that moment."
(Surely the stranger had noticed at this point, talking to the idiot was pointless.)

The stranger looked around the coffee shop, puffing his cheeks waiting for something to happen until he grew bored and began playing with locket. He thought it was pretty. Simple, but pretty. He was curious, and nosy enough to want to look inside but he quickly figured out that the locket needs a key to be opened. Being a stranger with no sense of appropriateness, he noticed something shiny in Jonghyun's shirt and reached for it, curtesy of the top two undone buttons causing Jonghyun to turn into a little girl and giggle because of his ticklish chest.
"Hey wai- what are you-"
He pulled the chain bringing Jonghyun's neck closer to him and with a determination he had never felt before, shoved that key in and clicked the locket open.
Jonghyun was shoved away, although he wasn't even pushed, he just did that sometimes, and stared at the strange stranger in disbelief.
"Don't look at that!"

He was judging the photo with a pout. Jonghyun then noticed a smile emerge and feared something strange was going to happen. Something ...he couldn't even fathom.
He looked at Jonghyun with that smile still etched into his face. "She's pretty. I can see why you broke her heart."
The funny thing was, he said that as he picked her picture out of the trinket and dumped it in the cold cup of coffee.
Jonghyun was horrified, staring at the cup oddly, watching as her smile sunk slowly into the brown liquid.
'Why did that feel symbolic?'
"The question is, why didn't you save her?"
Jonghyun stared back at his interregator innocently, "I don't ...know..."
"Could it be, you've fallen for someone else?"

Jonghyun's mind had an involuntary flashback and he remebered that night. He groaned in frustration and shut his eyes tighter hoping it'd erase the memory from his mind. It only made it worse. He hung his head in shame and ruffled his already messy hair.
The stranger waited patiently once again with his chin resting on his intertwined fingers.
"Can I guess?" He suggested.
He peeked up at the other, then hid his face away behind his fringe.
"Let's see." He pondered, resting back onto the seat, his two index fingers teaming up to tap lightly at his lips, "You got so drunk at a party one night that you ended up making out with a-"
Jonghyun's head shot straight up, shock all over his absent face. Words couldn't find a connection between his brain and his mouth, leaving it wide open for flies to enter.
The stranger stared a carnivorous stare, Jonghyun could even see the evil plans scroll across his eyes in abundant lists.
Maybe he was imagining it.
"Are you evil? Wait, don't finish that sentence. Can you read minds? Wait. Don't answer. I don't even know you! Who are you?! I'm leaving."

"..."

The pair sat face to face as if it were an old western movie. In this case, in contrast to the standing cowboys, they were sitting. The sound of the howling wind blew and a tumbleweed tumbled out of the toilets and rolled out beyond the doors into the town.
"Well?..." He mused, Jonghyun shifted uncomfortably, "You said you were leaving?"
Jonghyun couldn't of course on account of the other's foot resting on the minimal space of seat between Jonghyun's legs. "Uh..."
"What's wrong?" He raised his foot little, "Don't want to leave?"
Jonghyun pushed himself back into the seat as best he could. He couldn't believe the kind of situation he was in. This wasn't a reality he'd liked.
"Oh!" He thought, "I didn't mean to. I didn't know she was your girlfriend..."
His foot shoved higher as he shrieked, "What?!"
"Aiyah." Jonghyun winced then realised he could have just removed this weirdo's foot all along.
The stranger removed it for him but did something even worse and Jonghyun never knew anyone could swerve around a table that fast.

Alas, he was trapped between this psycho and a glass window for all to witness.
"I don't want any trouble..."
"You idiot, how come you don't remember me?"
"I think I would."
The psycho had his knee on the seat, his stance suggested her was ready to pounce. There was a moment of supense, as the two stayed still once more, staring at each other for too long.

"Um, excuse me? Please leave. You're making the other customers feel uncomfortable."

The pair both stared differently back at him. Jonghyun, giving a very thankful-to-have-been-shown-mercy-on-the-verge-of-being-stoned-to-death stare for being saved, and the other; a very spiteful you-wish-to-DIE?! stare for being interrupted.
He ignored the man and looked back to find Jonghyun gone. He followed what he thought were noises under the table but was too late as by the time he lowered his head Jonghyun was flailing away. He could only watch as the idiot fled out of the shop like it was on fire and crossed his arms in a huff. He stared, annoyed, back at the waiter who didn't take a hint.
"That means you too..." He added.
The stranger gave in yet as he was going to pull himself out he felt something tingle under his leg. He reached for it and discovered it was a phone.

"Oh?"

JongKey is love. And because I'm lazy right now, I'll edit it later.
