And thank you, a thousand times, for not sugarcoating/handwaving Raylan's profound grief at Wynona and the baby's loss. In the end, when they came together, it felt right; no one's memory was betrayed; Wynona and the baby were still huge parts of Raylan's thoughts and emotions and always would be. And yet, he'd found a way to love others, differently though no less deeply, and was moving in to the future. And that future; always with the possibility of death and destruction, and yet so incredibly bright. I'm an optimist at heart, and I can't tell you how grateful I was for that portrait ( ... )
